Since I haven't had time to replace the front control arms/bushings on the E46 (thereby enabling me to replace the almost bald tires), I've been driving our 2005 Honda Pilot to work for just about the past month straight. I'm even starting to use my turn signal. Is there any hope for me?

Quick! Park that Honda Pilot across 3 spots so you remember what it feels like to be alive again!

I'm sorry Party-vi you have terminal hondaitis. Since you now use your turn signals you are in the late stages of the disease. From now on you will have stickers that say "FWD for the win" and "VTEC". You will probably get an EF civic with a fart can exhaust or a S2000 in plastidip. You will also see symptoms of a heavier wallet. A daily dose of S54 audio clips might help.

I was, too, yesterday . I was surprised by how fast they replaced the HPFP, coils, and a couple gaskets, and I gave the F10 back yesterday. I don't think I've ever been disappointed by a car like I was that one.

For the airbag recall they gave me a 328d. Nice little car, but the diesel engine doesn't belong in a 3-Series. It would have been a nice experience except for the vibrations it put out.

No, luckily I went to a Comm College and did nothing extraordinary while I was there.

Good thinking! I have parked on top of an Airman who keeps saying he's a Staff Sergeant but I know those bars when I see them!

Interesting. I've been wanting to drive the new diesels. I was actually looking for them when I found the 535 I ended up buying instead.

In the 3-Series it's fun to push the pedal down and feel the torque push you forward, but they run out of steam when you get to the fun RPM range. Also I drove it like I stole it and still managed low-30s for MPG.

Clearly it didn't! It forced you into a honda pilot!

Pffttt. The BMW issue was around long before I made people gouge out their eyes with that Corvette post.

Ugh. Don't get me started on the sound and harshness of the auto start-stop in the new 328i...

The nice thing is you can shut it off. The not nice thing is that you have to reset it each time you get in and start the car.

Unless you code it to be off on start up. Glad my car doesn't have it, but if I commuting in stop and go traffic every day, I guess I could see the benefit. Still obnoxious.

I don't know what year range this was the case, 2013 or maybe 2014, but not the case currently (428i). There is a button adjacent the start button that toggles this feature on/off. It keeps the chosen preference until selected again. It does not revert to a default setting when the vehicle is switched off.
